Mental Health Awareness Training – Workplace

Mental Health Awareness Training

1 in 4 adults experience a mental health problem and it’s estimated that 15% of people at work have symptoms of an existing mental health condition.

The Thriving at Work Review recommended that all employees, regardless of workplace type, industry or size adopt the ‘Mental Health Core Standards’:

– Produce, implement & communicate a mental health at work plan
– Develop mental health awareness among employees
– Encourage open conversations about mental health and the support available when employees are struggling
– Provide your employees with good working conditions
– Promote effective people management
– Routinely monitor employee mental health and wellbeing

Our unique level based mental health awareness training programme is designed to support all employers implement these mental health core standards.

“Not only is there a big human cost of poor mental health at work, there are also knock on impacts for society, the economy and Government. Employers are losing billions of pounds because employers are less productive, less effective, or off sick.”

“The UK could and should be one of the leading nations in relation to mental health. If the UK prioritises mental health at work, we can become global leaders in reducing stigma, improving the mental health of the population and support for those who need it, and in the process improve the UK’s productivity.”
